Dr. Yuryj Kostirko
While completing his studies in Ontario, Dr. Yuryj also served as a naval reservist and worked as an emergency medical responder on the Rideau Canal Skateway. Having lived near both Canadian oceans and the Rocky Mountains, his passion for the outdoors eventually drew him to Australia to pursue his dental training.
Dr. Yuryj completed his Bachelor of Dental Health Science and Master of Dentistry at Griffith University in Australia. While studying on the Gold Coast, he combined his commitment to community service with his dental journey by founding Food First, a charitable food and clothing donation program to support those less fortunate.
Upon graduating, Dr. Yuryj gained valuable clinical experience treating a wide range of patients across both rural and urban areas in Australia, which further strengthened his appreciation for comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Now proud to return home to Canada and serve the North Shore community, Dr. Yuryj remains dedicated to clinical excellence and lifelong learning. While passionate about all aspects of comprehensive dental care, he has a particular clinical interest in restorative dentistry and oral surgery. Above all else, he strives to provide his patients with the highest standard of ethical, compassionate care.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Yuryj maintains a highly active and athletic lifestyle. You can frequently find him working out at the gym, playing tennis, skiing, or heading out to the North Shore trails for a hike.
